Game QA Tester

Our company is a mobile game development firm based in Izmir. We are currently seeking a QA Game Tester to join our team.
As a QA Game Tester at SKYLOFT, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and stability of our games. You will collaborate with a talented team of developers, designers, and artists to identify and report bugs, provide feedback on gameplay mechanics, and contribute to the overall enhancement of our games. Your attention to detail, critical thinking skills, and passion for gaming will help shape the final product and create an outstanding user experience.
Responsibilities
- Test and verify gameplay features, mechanics, and functionality of our games.
- Identify and report bugs, glitches, and other issues using a standardized bug tracking system.
- Conduct comprehensive testing of game mechanics, levels, and UI elements to ensure a seamless gaming experience.
- Collaborate with the development team to troubleshoot and resolve identified issues.
- Document and communicate test results, feedback, and suggestions to the appropriate stakeholders.
- Participate in test planning and contribute to the development of test strategies.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in game testing.
Qualifications
- Passion for gaming and a deep understanding of different gaming genres and platforms.
- Familiarity with bug tracking systems and testing methodologies.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify and document issues accurately.
- Strong communication skills to effectively articulate feedback and suggestions.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing project requirements.
- Familiarity with various gaming platforms, including PC, consoles, and mobile devices.
- Basic knowledge of game development processes and software testing techniques.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Preferably
- Passionate about games.
- Previous experience with mobile game testing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
